ZIZOZIZO

ZIZO Boom

Boom.

Big sound, on wheels

Boom is one speaker built at two scales, with output running 60-80W across them. Both pair over Bluetooth, link to a second speaker with TWS, play from a USB drive, a memory card or FM radio, and roll on a handle with wheels.

The room, lit

A tower that lights the party.

Both sizes stand as a tower with two drivers behind a lit ring and light running the length of the front. Set it on the floor, pair a second one over TWS, and the two of them cover the room from either end. Wireless range runs 10 m, about 35 ft.

Grab the mic

A microphone comes in the box.

Both sizes ship with a wireless microphone, and there is a mic input on the top deck for anyone who would rather plug one in. A remote control comes with them too, so the track can change from across the room.

Sing over it.

Light with the sound

The lighting is part of the speaker.

Light runs down the front of the tower and rings both drivers, cycling through color as it goes. It sits behind the grille mesh rather than on top of it, so in a dark room the whole front reads as one lit surface instead of a strip stuck to a black box.

Dark room. Lit tower.

The top deck

Everything lives on top.

The wheels, the sliders, the source buttons and the inputs, all on one panel you can reach standing over it.

The panel

One panel, lit.

The deck sits flat across the top of the tower with every control lit, so it stays readable in the dark room this speaker is built for. Nothing is buried behind a menu.

In use

Reach over and turn it.

The wheels are ringed in light and sit under your hand where the speaker stands on the floor. You find them by feel and confirm by looking down.

The whole deck

Volume, echo, bass, treble.

Two wheels for volume and mic volume, sliders for echo, delay, bass and treble, and a row of source and playback buttons across the front edge. It is a mixing panel, laid out flat.

The inputs

Plug something in.

A microphone input sits along the back of the same deck, so a wired mic works on the nights the wireless one is somewhere else. The remote in the box handles the rest.

Two sizes. One tower.

Boom Z7 and Boom Z9 are the same speaker built at two scales: a lit tower with two drivers, a wireless microphone in the box, and a handle with wheels to get it where the party is.
